Gulf Coast is an excellent choice for beginner mycologist or advanced growers. This specific Gulf Coast is known for its caramel convex caps and thick white stems.

Land race mushrooms like Gulf Coast are more favorable because  land race genetics found in nature are known to produce higher active compounds and be more resilient to contamination.
