Description

Product description

Albino Avery is a unique variety of Psilocybe cubensis known for its striking white appearance and potent psychoactive effects. This variety is a mutation of the Cambodian, which itself is a variant of the classic Psilocybe cubensis. It is highly regarded in the mycology community for its unique characteristics and strong effects.

Cultivation Information

Albino Avery

Substrate Preparation: The ideal substrate for Albino Avery is a mix of brown rice flour and vermiculite, commonly used in the PF Tek method. Manure-based substrates can also be used for larger yields.

Inoculation: Inoculation is typically done using spore syringes or liquid culture. Ensure sterile conditions to prevent contamination.

Colonization: Colonization takes about 2-3 weeks at temperatures between 75-81°F (24-27°C). Maintain high humidity and avoid light exposure during this phase.

Fruiting Conditions: Fruiting requires a drop in temperature to around 70-75°F (21-24°C) and exposure to light (indirect sunlight or artificial light). Maintain high humidity around 90-95%.

Harvesting: Harvest when the veil under the cap breaks but before the caps fully open. This ensures optimal potency and spore distribution.

Characteristics

Albino Avery

Appearance: Albino Avery mushrooms are completely white, including the cap, stem, and gills. The caps are small to medium-sized, and the stems are slender.

Growth: This variety tends to grow in clusters, and the mushrooms are relatively short compared to other cubensis varieties.

Resilience: Albino Avery is moderately resilient, but like all Psilocybe cubensis, it requires careful attention to humidity and sterile conditions to prevent contamination.

Potency

Albino Avery

Albino Avery is known for its beginner friendly experience. Users report it to be more on the mellow side and great for microdosing.

Effects

Albino Avery

Visuals: Users frequently experience visual distortions, including enhanced colors and patterns.

Euphoria: A pronounced sense of euphoria is common, with feelings of happiness and contentment.

Introspection: Albino Avery is known for promoting positivity and self-reflection.

Altered Perception: Users often report changes in the perception of time and space, along with a heightened sense of awareness.

Body Sensations: Physical sensations can include tingling, lightness, or a feeling of energy moving through the body.

Historical Significance

The Albino Avery variety is a relatively recent addition to the Psilocybe cubensis family. Its unique albino characteristics have made it a subject of interest and admiration among mycologists and psychonauts alike. Its high potency and distinctive appearance set it apart from other varieties, contributing to its growing popularity in the psychedelic community. Fun fact: The Albino Avery has been HPLC laboratory tested and contains norpsilocin which is typically uncommon amongst a cubensis species. There have been only few cubensis varieties to show for this tryptamine.
